UP1 Reflection

 Ms. Burtz is trail runner who moved in Matsudai, Tokamachi from Tokyo. She worked at a company on Tokyo. However, after she met her husband, she decided to quit her job and find what she really want to do. Because she was attracted by his passionate to his job. I think her meeting with him is very important to her. Then, she focused on social issue, such as poverty. She went to Philippines and Vietnam. And also she went to art college to learn how we could contribute to social issues. She then decided to move to Matsudai to focus on local social issues. I am very impressed with Mr. Burtz's energy in what he has written so far. She came to Matsudai to organize a race called " Haru-no-jin"  which was designed to revitalization the community. Surprisingly, she focused not only tourism and also education for local child.

 From her presentation, I learned how to development our idea. She said brainstorm is good way to expand our idea so, I will use this way in my project. And also, about how to revitalization Matsudai of Ms. Burtz, she firstly tried to research more about Matsudai. I learned researching well about the area is the key to revitalization the community. 

 As I mentioned above, I think her energy is amazing and most impression. I want to action like her in my daily life.
